Active For Animals’ has been created to support people of all generations, skills and experiences to take visible action for wildlife; this is our Mission.
It doesn’t matter what you call yourself, activist or simply a citizen who cares what is happening for wildlife. At this critical point in time, when we are being asked to make the next decade matter for wildlife and the natural world, it is about what you choose to do. All of us must be a part of the solution. Part of the reason for starting this organization is also to send a strong message to anyone who listens that if there are issues that distress you, as the rhino poaching crisis impacted me, then act. What Active for Animals want is that more rhinos have the chance to look as relaxed as the one in the image, as it sits in sea of colorful wild flowers in the Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania.
While our campaigns incorporate awareness-raising and education, our key focus is demand reduction. In such instances, when there is limited time for awareness raising and education, strategies are needed to drive more rapid behavior change.
Key is to Get Active and that might only take One Small Step.
